I need to now download the initial 8.5 gigs and after that when the client starts it will need to update the game back to where it was, including downloading game updates. I wasn't aware that Steam recognized 44 files (because they were updated) and erased the whole installation. So, I couldn't log in after restarting the game I thought verifying game file integrity would do something as I had this specific error, and I wasn't aware if they had a server maintenance or not (and if they had, they should really tell people with a clear message):
